Later that year, the local Circuit Court approved the validity of the referendum, the method of assessment, and the annual index process approved by the voters. Published notice, as required by law, was published on or before July 9, 2024 concerning the FY 2024-25 Non-ad Valorem Assessment, along with all other required information, in addition to other extraordinary information on the District's website to further inform concerning the Non-Ad Valorem assessment funding and collection process for your District. The District is independent, and will not be imposing any Ad Valorem property taxes; and, does not receive tax revenue from the County. This search engine shows the FY 2024-25 assessment roll. The notice published on or before July 9, 2024 provided information of the annual public hearing which was set for July 30, 2024 and shared an email address for convenient means to provide individual public comment. A copy of this published notice is also posted on the District's website. All emailed comments are reviewed in this process, and made available to the management and each member of the Board as this annual rate determination process occurs immediately after the July 30, 2024 public hearing.
